First day :
Our representative will meet you at Alexandria port and escort you through your 2 day trip. Drive to Cairo approximately 2.5 hours by an air-conditioned vehicle, arrive at the Plateau of the Great Pyramids of Giza to visit the Pyramids of Cheops, Chephren and Mykerinus.
Then proceed to visit the Great Sphinx, a head of a pharaoh with a lion's body, dates from the time of Chephren; the tour also includes a visit to the Valley Temple, which belongs to the Pyramids of Chephren.
Lunch break, then move on to Sakkara to visit the Step Pyramids of Zoser and then to Memphis, the first capital of Egypt, to see the Statue of Ramses II and the second alabaster Sphinx.
After your tour, you will be transferred to your hotel. In the evening, have an unforgettable dinner experience on a 5 star Nile cruise, it's the best way to enjoy the Nile at night with belly dancer, folklore show, western music along with a wide selection of Egyptian favorites. Back to your hotel and overnight.
2nd Day:
Breakfast at hotel, then transfer to the famous the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Pharaonic period. The museum displays a rare collection of 5000 years of art which is considered the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to Tutankhamen collection of treasure, gold and jewelry which was enclosed in his tomb for over 3,500 years before it was discovered in the 1920s when his tomb was excavated. Lunch at local restaurant.
Move on to the Citadel of Salah El Din and visit Mohamed Ali Alabaster Mosque which was designed by the architect Yousif Boushnaq, a Turkish man who came especially from Istanbuland built this great mosque for Mohamed Ali, the ruler of Egypt (1805-1849) who ruled Over 45 years. Then proceed to Khan El Khalili Bazaar, one of the most famous and oldest bazaars in the Middle East. Efficient time will be given for souvenir shopping then drive back to Port Said to board your ship.
